My GF's got a 54 plate 1.4. It's a good wee car, only recently though the coils for the plugs have started to ge one by one Sad

Unfortunatly I do, a '98 1.4i Liberte.

Its really shit, doesn't like the rain, doesn't like being revved, there are several different oil leaks on the engine that smoke away nicely as you're driving, rear suspension makes dodgy sounding thuds when going over bumps, I 've broken various other parts, its generally crap. Oh, and its French!! Shocked

A good car, if you want an unreliable shitheap. Thumbs Up

Wanna buy one then?

It's not too bad as French cars go. But then that's not really much of a recomendation.

Drain Plug?

Do you want to bleed the system or Empty it?

If you want to empty it, Just take off the lowest pipe in the system.

i was told if you do that tho you need to bleed the system.

shouldnt there be a drain plug? it cant be on the bottom as that will mean you need to remove aload of metal paneling

You would need to Bleed it when refilling, if you drain it by either method. Usually Renaults have fairly visible bleed points, Screw in plugs in the top hose, heater pipes and radiator top, depending on the model year. Presuming you're adding anti-freeze this time of year? Just open a bleed point and add an anti-freeze/water mix whilst the old coolant is coming out, until it's all in the system.

Shocked
And you told me I was imagining those noises!

I did honestly think I had made part of your car fall off.
