Got to change the 0.12 ones as well...they will be out soon anyway. All the exhausts need done. Since you're in there as SOND says, do them all.

Wallet might take a fair whack if your dealer doesn't exchange shims...do check ebay before you buy anything, there was a seller doing them for £3 e.a whereas suzuki charged me somewhat more per shim if memory serves correct. Honda being honda would probably charge a hell of a lot more. Rolling Eyes

Checking ebay is a good idea, in my experience bigger dealers tend to be less keen on swapping shims than smaller backstreet dealers so hunt out a backstreet garage if you cant get them swapped. You might well be able to re use a lot of the shims already in your head, just by swapping them around.

Thanks for your help guys, i'm gonna check the valve clearances one more time to make sure they were correct then i'll whip the cams out and get some new shims, i've got a vernier caliper to make sure the shims are correctly marked as well.

You'll need a micrometer to check the shims, they need to be right to within 100th's of millimeters.

And be aware of course you can move shims around so you won't need to actually exchange all of them.

If they are the same shims as the VFR NC30 (which I doubt) then you can get them exchanged for £1 a pop. They are £5 each new.
