thats for all your advice
it turns out that there is nothing wrong with the carb... All the stopping and starting of the engine has damaged the spark plug! So im getting a new one fitted tomorrow.
Turns out the screw i was turning was just a bolt that held the air pipe thingy onto the carb Im learning slowly! (i hope)
cheers

I do like the racing blue and the stickers make it look wicked. I have a mate with one like yours. I see you have the same problem as me with the annoying bottom half of the exhaust rusting. I have sorted it now though (applied this stuff called crust that made the rust disappear!)
Anyway i will be finding out tomorrow if the spark plug works a mechanic person is coming to look at it.
I have had about 52MHP out of it but thats down hill! On the flat it does between 45 and 50. It does annoy me and I cant wait to get a bigger bike! (only two months now)
I think about 50MPH is standard for the italjet dragster, its fully derestricted but im sure it could be tunned to get a bit more speed! I got mine for 1200 pounds brand new (600 quid cheaper than usual) so thats basically why i got it.
cheers

I reckon if you did get your scooter up to 70 you'd still insist on waering a normal jacket? No cowhide or CE armour in sight? And JEANS!!!
Don't care what you're riding, come off at 70 and it's gonna be messy
I'd love to see the pedders in leathers.... LOL ____________________ Back on a Blade. Just feels so right. |
