Hi

I tend to be a bit of a hoarder. Also have a bad habit of buying workshop manuals for bikes I might own at some time.

All the best

I have plenty of old chains and padlocks laying about. Now if i'd used these things over the last few years maybe the two bikes i had stolen would still be here today Sad

Other than that, Many Bike Magazines, a Bike battery of some sort which i don't remember buying and a Fazer 600 chainguard and Exhuast.

From the Motorcycling Manual (3rd Edition, 1913)....

"In districts where the police are strictly enforcing the silencer law, the long exhaust has another advantage. This is that, as the noise goes out backwards, very little can be heard by the listening policeman till the machine is past, when, as a rule, it is to late for him to do much."

You forgot to mention all the bikes. I think you have enough to count as a 'hoard'.

Probably true. Plenty of spares as well, "just in case".

All the best

I think i need more but my wife disagrees Confused

Pluss i cant seem to get rid of any riding gear, it does't matter if it doesn't fit or if it is useless due to an accident. I still got my lid in the cupboard from an accident two years ago.

As with Keith, probably describe it as 'accumulate' more.

Not quite up to his level, but probably worse in relation to the space I've got Smile.

Tut, and I was about to get excited and tell you all about my "camp blanket" collection of (mostly) Guiding related cloth badges.

Sad

I can't bring myself to throw away old magazines, so have a copious amount of very out of date copies of RiDE, TWO, Performance Bikes, Fast Bikes and one copy of Streetfighter Magazine. Smile

For some strange reason I collect old head gaskets.

I hang all the old ones I have removed on a little hook in the garage.

Weirdo!!!! Laughing

I'm trying to collect motocourse annuals, I got 1984-2006 so far. Struggling to get earlier ones as they are going for silly money. A good 1977 one can go for £400 upwards. I expect i'll have to pay about £80 for a 1983 copy.

I collect nothing. Can't afford to. If I did it'd probably be MotoGP memorabilia such as signed posters and miniatures. Can't see how that'd ever happen though as there's always another bit of kit or a flash part for the bike to be bought. As it stands I spend all my extra cash on music and movies. Oh, and I'm hopelessly addicted to sushi. Sick

i cant throw away magazines either, ive a shed full of 'bike' mags, with the odd copy of fast bikes and ride. i think the things i collect the most are guitars (5 - at the last count), guitar effects pedals (18) and guitar amps (6). ive no idea why as i can only play one at a time Laughing

Head gaskets takes the biscuit. I save rather than collect worn valves in case one day I can not get any. I am so paranoid about the world supply of Ariel valves becoming extinct that I also hoard new valves. Piston rings are the same.
