how can it be 'repetitive' strain injury when you've just done your CBT?
I just think you're being a big jessie. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

I am being a big Jessie!!!
i just had a thought on my mind sorry for asking a question n all
and i used RSI because its the only term that i know for an injury of that kind, i spend most of my lessons at school on a computer so being in a elbows bent position happens alot hence repetitive

After a return to biking after 20 years, a mate of mine had a very sore clutch arm, which passed after a week or two, now doesn't bother him. If it carries on, you should check your posture, and maybe get an experienced rider to look at your posture as well, to see if you are putting unnecessary strain on that arm. ____________________ Currently Moto Guzzi 750 Strada, Moto Guzzi V35 Florida, previously Honda CB125T, RD250LC, RD80MX |

I also get white fingers and toes but from Reynauld's, a circulation problem.
Not much I can do about it apart from not getting cold, but even with windproof undergloves and winter gloves on top I still get 3 dead fingers after half hour on the bike
The odd thing is that just by having dead fingers totally affects my riding and balance.
I'll have to see about heated grips for next winter. |

I got a lot of pain in my hand when I did my DAS, I think it was from reaching for the clutch lever when I wasn't used to it. I have quite small hands. But it got better with time.
Then I bought the SV which has a longer reach for the clutch lever (it's not adjustable like it was on my GPZ) and I stopped riding for a few months as I am a wimp and it was winter - and now the pain is back! So for me I think it is just a strength thing, my hands need to get stronger (while I investigate options to shorten the reach to my clutch lever..... ).
So probably the reverse of RSI, for me it's from not doing it enough! ____________________ Suzuki SV650S K5
