Just had a very bad experience with these guys. Took me two days to get through to their UK order line (bad omen eh?), left messages and they don't phone back.

When I did finally get through they just said they were busy. I ordered a paddock stand and paid £5.50 for 3 day delivery. 10 Days later I still havent received it despite them saying that it was sent the same day I ordered it.

When I complained, they didn't want to know, they told me to phone the carrier because it wasn't their problem. Phoned the carrier (Securicor Omega), and they don't phone back either.

I had to fax a letter to Hein Gericke and ask for a refund because I can't get through again on their order line. DON'T TOUCH THESE GUYS WITH A BARGE-POLE! Mad

I ordered via Email, and experience wasn't that much better...basically, there was no confirmation of the order being received, and no follow-up from my enquiry...

...A few days later, part of my order arrived, but my CC had been charged for the full order!...another week later, I decided to ring them up...they told me that the other stuff was being shipped from Europe, and would "take longer" to arrive...

...a couple of weeks later, everything did arrive...

If you paid them money to deliver it to you then it's *their* problem. To start with the 'contract' is with them and they're gonna be taking a cut of the p&p anyway.
The only case where it would be up to you to sort it out with courier was if you got a different courier to pick it up from them.

Yeah, I love Hein Gericke stuff. I visit their shop often, but find that many items, or sizes for things I want arn't often in stock. The guy in the shop recommended I get from their mail order as I'd get it quicker than waiting for it to come into stock in the shop.

NEVER AGAIN!. The mail order service was total shite and their additude stinks! It seems that these guys take your money and couldn't give a f**k afterwards.

Scan, the mail order computer company charged me twice for £250 worth of stuff. Despite phoning them before they took the money out of my account they still did it and it took me over 3 months to get them to return it (during which time I was overdrawn and paying significant overdraft fees, though the bank did refund them)
