I use Silkolene 10 40 Semi Synthetic for my YBR. Its the same stuff they use in the Yamaha warrenty service thing so I recommend it .
For my chain on my YBR I use some Castrol Spray Chain Wax. Works quite well and does the job.
To change the oil you need to drain you're current oil. Down on the engine near the gear lever there is a bolt/screw that when you undo it will drain the oil. Use a tray or something to collect the old oil and once that is done do the bolt back up and put you're new oil in.

Just to add to that. Drain the oil after you've warmed the bike up, this makes the oil less viscous and so it drains more easily. Also open the dipstick cover to allow air to enter.
Once all the oil has drained return the drain bolt and then add 1 litre of oil into the hole for the dipstick. The amount of oil you require is also printed on the engine casing there for future reference (although 1 litre is pretty easy to remember)
Good luck

I used gear oil for my YBR. It kept the chain beautifully clean but it needed regular applications. I used to do it 2x a week or more regularlly after being out in the wet.
Quick wipe of the chain by holding an old towel around the chain as I spun the back wheel with my right arm. then drisel the oil over the links as I spun the chain. Then run the chain through the towel again. If it was really dirty I'd repeat the oiling as the first application would loosen the grime. Took about 2 mins at most and the man at my local dealer even commented on how good knick it was in Remember it is best practice to lube the chain after a ride when it is warm... Having said that the YBR chain doesn't really get that warm!
