You could squeeze another 1000 km out of it quite safely if it hasn't been derestricted. A top end rebuild (including new piston) only costs about £75-£100 if you DIY it. Get on over to www.125ccsportsbikes.com if you need any help.
At that mileage i'd suspect it only needs new rings, Which would be about £20-40 to replace.
On Cagivas, rings are done every 8,000 miles and a piston every 16,000 miles.

I joined that forum a little while back, doesn't seem too bad so far tbh. will cost me under £30 for me new ring kit, Also doin it meself  ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies.
