Cons - Wider bars make filtering harder, SM is too slow outside of town for anything resembling distance work, more effort to commute on a SM, MPG might improve, but you'll have a smaller tank meaning more fuel stops. You'll lose your license due to wheelying away from EVERY set of lights.
Pros - Look and sound like a badass, especially if you fit a fruity race can. ____________________ My Flickr |

Correction... the bars are higher, meaning they go above the cars wingmirrors, making filtering easier. (unless you come across vans and 4x4's).
Other than that, the MPG sucks and long distance sucks. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!

Keep the GSXR.
Buy something fun for weekends or something. I have a monkey bike to piss around on, an R1 for them sunny days and the Vara for commuting. All cost less than the GSXR you have and probably cheaper on insurance too |

as a supermoto lover i will be honest with you, a SM is not the way to go with commuting, you may get to work quicker on a SM if you live in the city nice and high up see all the road filtering is piss easy (i even done a cheeky wheelie in traffic). top end speed on SM is not very great, my KTM with my gearing set up top speed is about 100 and its not nice at that speed,
if you really wanted to go SM and use it every day DRZ is the way forward but dont expect to much from it, or if you want go for an SMR or LC4 not EXC like i did any high profomace SM will be high maintenance take my EXC for example, every 250 miles is oil change, every 3000 engine rebuild. BUT if you want fun i dont think a superbike will give you as much fun trust me! ____________________ owned bikes: DR50, Thumpsta 110 , Honda CR85, Speedfight 100, Yamaha XT125X, Honda CRF450, Honda Hornet '07
