I actually paid to join one of these things, it was only £18. What you get is a big list of companies, you sign up to as many of these companies as you like, and then they tell you about the surveys they're doing. But in my experience, 99% are either completely irrelevant, full, or require you to go to London. They have rigorous screening processes. For example, there was a 'Car Drivers' Survey'. I checked it out, it was a discussion group in London for people who drove a particular Mercedes. There was a cigarettes smokers' one - again you have to go to London, but the only reward was 2 packs of cigarettes a year.
Every now and then you get an online survey, but even if you do get through the screening process, it's about a £2 reward.
In short, it was money down the drain for me, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not often I get burnt, but I did that time. |

I'm with www.ciaosurveys.com and have made about £50 in a year, as the surveys are usually from about 50p to £2, so you won't get rich.
But, I've also had loads of free shampoos, cosmetics, toiletries, detergents, drinks (incl alcoholic), as well as vouchers for services. All I have had to do in return has been to fill in a max two-page questionnaire about the product, and once I was invited to a small focus group, but was on holidays so couldn't make it (that would have been a £100 reward). I have never been asked to pay anything, and haven't been inundated with spam either. Once your account shows £10, you can request them to credit it to your bank account.
The key is to say you've got this and that, and you're very interested in loads of things, that way you'll be sent more surveys.
Edit: just to clarify: this is free, you don't have to pay to take part in surveys and they even ask you to contact them should anybody ask you for a payment. ____________________ My other bike's a Monster...

it works but you'll never make much out of it , I made £15 once by lying to a marketting company in Bury, which has an office opposite the railway station (the antique one) , you get called in every few months for people to access the impact of adverts.
cost nowt to join , but you do get lots of annoying calls everyso often. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |
