was stripping an rxs100 tank i bought for £1 off ebay, so that i can keep my little rxs100 running and change over the tank for a nice smooth, undented shiney tank. so i bought this fuel tank and stripped it down to the metal, patiently taking up all the filler, god there was alot of filler - an of course dents.

got through it all and there were two little holes probably from rust poking through near where the fuel tape connects. is there anything i can do to fill them, i have no idea how to weld unless u count my soldering-iron Wink.

Any fillers designed for this? or is it a simple weld if i could borrow the equipment?

i enclose pictures of the tank:

You may be able to get it welded, but will have to get someone else to do it.

WD40 treatment? eh?

Is this inside or outside the tank?

Id use a drill with a wire cup to get the rust off otherwise youll be there for all eternity!

You could repair the tank with petro patch or JB weld.
