Generally, you pop the pump cover off, and adjust two locknut style adjusters (similar to throttle cable adjusters). There should be a marking cast into the engine casing, and a marking on the pump itself. Hold throttle fully open, the two marks should align. That's it. Well, that's how it's been done on all my bikes... for yours, see here: https://homepage.ntlworld.com/j.cowell4/gpr.pdf (GPR125 workshop manual - 6.2Mb)
Only time to worry about excessive (bluish) smoke really is MOT day... as it'll fail... hence never take a 2 stroke for an MOT without riding it around for a good hour or so first to warm it up... if you MOT a 2 stroke from a coldstart, even a perfectly setup bike, the majority can fail quite easily.
Excessive white smoke is a much different matter... usually a water problem (either water in fuel, blown headgasket, or just condensation in the exhaust from being stored outside overnight) ____________________ FAB-Racing MiniMotoSidecars - Back with a vengeance - F1 Class 2011...

yeah the bike seems to be running pretty well - no power loss or anything - theres a bit of a stutter as it goes into the powerband about 6k but i can live with that for the time being - just a bit annoying in the morning when i get to deal with a big ass cloud in the back garden
Ill check the pump for markings and things when i get in and can get the cover off:)
Ill let ya know and post some pix if i need to .
