CB500 should drop straight in too mefinx... altho you'd need to house the radiator somewhere...

If you're going for a bigger engine, I'd consider uprating the front calipers too... eg: you're going from stopping 17bhp to stopping nearing 60bhp if you went with a CB500... ____________________ FAB-Racing MiniMotoSidecars - Back with a vengeance - F1 Class 2011...

They wont be adequate to stop the great increase in hp.

At the end of the day BLUEX5 I have here a bike with a f_U_C_K_E_D engine that is worth NOTHING TO ME , so I might at least try with a different engine as I have NOTHING to lose , if the worst comes to the worst and I buy an xs400 engine or something and my plan does not work then I will just sell the engine back on to some one else, you never know that with the right engine and brakes I may well have a very nice bike, even a new restoration project for when the Ariel is finished, but on a much cheaper scale , you never know I might even have the PERFECT bike to have when I am 17 , after all they would be classic insurance , and a "funky" bike to own at 17 , yes it will be 33BHP safety Nazis's (sp?)
I think GRAV understands were I am coming from , and also I think he has made my mind up on what engine to get , cheers mate.
