I presume it's coming on as soon as you switch the ignition on and staying on? Even if the engine isn't running and is stone cold?
If so it's either the fan switch in the radiator that's gone tits-up or there is a short circuit to earth somewhere between the fan and the switch (on the assumption that your bike has the 'usual' setup with the fan being on the live side of the switch and the switch allowing the current to earth).
To check which, simply disconnect the connector on the fan switch. If the fan still comes on you have a short. If it doesn't come on, it's the switch. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
