I'll normally nip in a couple of cars from the front of the queue ready to turn left. It depends where you see a gap, really. Yes, you do have to fight your way in sometimes - in those cases just be assertive and don't do anything silly and you'll be fine. ____________________ Dead nobodies in company cars... |

Either make sure you can get right to the front and pull in front of the car there or slot yourself in a bit further back. If you know you're going to be turning left, you should be looking for your space well before you need it.
Worst case, there isn't one and you're left sitting on the outside of a queue of traffic looking like a dick while all the cars drive past looking smug. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. I tend to nip in a few cars from the end.
Just today I was filtering down A27 by arundal towards Ports (traffic can be a nightmare) I went to nip in 20 cars from the front as I had a white van man in front trying to get in front of a coach.
A right nightmare, coach driver was not giving up - So I decided to pull in behind him to save any bother that was comming my way
Few cars try to stop you getting in so just keep your witts about you |

what ill do if im turning left, is pull to the left of a gap of the car behind of the car infront of the que. Put my left indicator on. Or when the traffic starts moving just slip in. Of course always do the neccesary shoulder checks and mirror checks before doing this as some car drivers wont open up to you.

Whenever I want to turn left I just pull in a couple of cars before getting to the end of the line, if all cars are stationary I stop by the biggest gap I can see and just go for getting in, usually the car behind will let you through, they might not be happy with you but I've never had someone try to force me out.
Well I had a bus the other day try to close the gap as much as possible.. but I out accelerated him so it was no problem (wasn't hard;))
If its at lights and I know I'm going to reach the end before they go green I just go to the front of the que, as long as there is a light further ahead I can watch obviously ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.

I find that cars usually let me in if I have my indicator on, look at the driver and raise my hand in a stop sign. When they let me in, I give them a nod and a wave. This works even with the aggressive drivers of Central London. ____________________ My other bike's a Monster...

just wait for cars setting off, usually leaves a gap where the next car hasn't moved yet, so slot into that or just assertively integrate yourself ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies.
