I'm looking for one of these:

On the off chance, does anyone know where I could get them cheaper than the £20+vat they go for new?

It doesn't have to be that exact model, but it'd be nice to have something that's accessible from the front and stacks easily. Used boxes, seconds etc are fine.

Lid isn't massively important, but would be nice - boxes described as 'lin bins' don't seem to come in quite the sizes I'm looking for (one above is 600mm x 400mm x 320mm.

Oh your kidding, I've just thrown one out, yesterday!

I got 3 of them from work, only needed two for my spare engines to be stored in the garage (all I had room for) so I chucked the other one out!

I'll have a look tomorrow for any more, but I have a feeling they were the last ones.

Thumbs Up

Cheers Barry.

I'll have a look next time I'm near an Ikea, but suspect they won't be quite as hardy as I'm hoping for shaggy, ta for the link.

maybe check the back of your local halfords they wont be front opening but they are very sturdy and free if you pick the right time.

Anyone got about a dozen of them kicking about?

Could do with a new batch to replace my knackered ones

Note the specific ones I'm looking for (which should be decently tough, with lots of openings etc) are £20 + vat RRP.
Starting from about £6 for basic decent ones with lids.

Cheers for looking anyway Thumbs Up.

Found somewhere that has similar but without lids and not quite as strong looking for £12-£13 each. Not sure if it includes vat or not, but they have the option of a side opening one as well, which could be useful.
