I always refer to bikes as she or her, I can not even think of a motorcycle as being male, Even peds that I regard as gay I still think of as girly gay rather than hairy muscle Marys in leather straps gay.
How do others especially lady bikers think about the sex of their machines?

My missus goes weak at the knees when she sees my bike, it is of course through laughing.

Maybe mines a badly dressed transvestite?

I've never "sexed" my bikes. I can't really understand why people do this with bikes or anything else, but then I don't "sex" anything else either- cars, boats etc. It's an object (not a person or animal) which I look after ie servicing, checking over etc.

Allways checked all bikes I've owned for genitals and never found any so quite confident in calling it and it, or bike, or bikey according to her ladyship. (current bike is is the simple one word but previous ones might be, tall bike, red bike, small bike e.t.c.)

My bikes are male. Definitely.

It's more one of the lads, bit like a drinking buddy, you go out and have a laugh. It doesn't get caressed, and the thrashing it gets isn't sexual, it's fun.

Definitely male.

I generally call mine a "she" when she behaves, which in all honesty is 99% of the time.

The rest of the time its a "F**king 2 stroke".

I still just refer to it as "the bike", and although I hadn't really thought of it before, the words "the bike" sound quite masculine to me... like "mate", or "bruv".

The OHs car, and all my own cars in the past were all female

Surely it should be the other way around...

Bikes and Ships you get on top of... Therefore they should be boys.

And cars are a form of transport that you get in... Therefore they should be girls.

Correct?
