Newbie from East Sussex....

Hi all,
new member here from East Sussex.
My names Rob, and I currently ride an 06 ZZR1400.
Had a succession of Honda VFR's, then a brief spell on a ZZR1200 before the 14 came out and it was love at first sight.
It's a lovely bike, just does my knees in after about 3 hours in the saddle.
Just arrived back home after a camping week-end in the Yorkshire Dales.....732 mile round trip to share a few pints with some "Northern" mates. Boy can they drink......
But rode some lovely roads around the area and the weather, (thankfully) stayed dry.
Mostly a weekend rider as I work in sales and don't get a lot of spare time during the week.
But have racked up 7,500 miles so far this year as most of my runs are "long distance"....

Taken over this weekend at a bike rally I attended in the Yorkshire Dales....732 mile round trip to see some mates.
Took my Son Harry with me who has just turned 18.
Was nice that he was able to buy his old man a pint or two

I am from north yorkshire (near bedale) but now live in west sussex.

My old regular haunts. Buttertubs pass is amazing up to devils bridge.

I go up there as often as I can being as all my friends and family are up there (northallerton is where I am from) only lived down here since last year.

next time you should go from helmsley to stokesly on the "yorkshire TT" its amazing. beats the shit out of all the roads down here, there are no decent roads down here at all.

I've got the week off this week so as the sun was shining decided to fire the old girl up again today and headed off into the sun with the missus aboard. Had a nice run out through the Kent Weald past Headcorn and ended up in Yalding for a nice spot of lunch by the river at The Anchor. Then headed out the back of Maidstone way towards the in-laws in Herne Bay.
Great day out, nothing too fast (apart from winding it up down through Brenzett ) luckily the wife didn't see the speedo
Popping up to Boxhill on Wednesday evening for a meet with some of the lads from the VFR Club if anybody in the area fancies it?
Down the A272 as far as the junction with the A24 and then get there for about 6.30 for a cuppa and the famous Rykers burger
Meeting up with another guy at the petrol station in North Chailey at 5.30

Not far from Bexhill Old Town myself. Riding a yellow SV650S.
Am off Wednesday but i think riding out far might be out of the question at the mo. Money's getting tight after buying the bike.

I just saw a metallic green Z yesterday down bexhill road. Just after we exchanged nods all i could think to myself was "cunt".

Really like the new look.

- On the note of wednesday i think hoodwink and i are off to some random roads we havnt ridden. Looking for mileage really. I think we worked out a route of around 200miles although i cant remember it because when he was explaining i was a little drunk.
