I was disconnecting the clutch lever and clutch cable on the GPZ in an attempt to lubricate the sleeve around the cable. The clutch lever had been getting increasingly harder to pull, and I realised it probably hadn't been checked since the last MOT in October 2006

I found out that the clutch cut off switch is damaged... the little plunger part of the switch that protrudes to the back of the clutch lever was cracked, and fell off when I removed the clutch lever. I've also drawn a blank so far today trying to get a replacement.

So does anyone know if it's a requirement for the switch to be present/working - and either way, anywhere I can order one online??

Living in Ireland, I know nothing about bike MOT's (as we dont have them over here) but seeing as how they're not fit to every bike, I dont see how the tester would know if yours should ahve one or not ..
