My ZL400 is a shaftie as well. Apparrently the whole ZL range from 400 up is so that's ZL400/600/750/900/1000.

Or just get yourself an old NTV some models are trading on ebay for £200 , the NTV600 a bit more... GT550s (with courier abuse) can be had for £300ish...

As i've said before numerous times, once you have had a shaft drive bike its very difficult to go back to chain.. (i'd definitely be manufactureing some sort of bastardised scott oiler if i did though) ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

To shaft or not: that is the question
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
the pain of lube and chain re-tension
or to take the easier option of less maintenance
FWIW shaft, ok for all round bike, commuter and tourer.
BMW seems to make a good sporty K1200 as well  ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
