I used Renthal Street Fighter bars.

Had to zip tie down the brake line as it was very long from the kit.

Next on the list is some bar end mirrors, as the S4 look`s damn cool without the dumbo ear mirrors.

Compleatly changes the feel of the bike, actually made me feel unstable in corners as the position is very odd to me.
The comfort is so much better though.

your best bet is to actually give it a go and if you need longer cables then sort them out then try fitting again.

I really dont know, its personal preference really.

£140 for the LSL conversion kit
£40 for the bars
£15 for the bar ends.
oh and £3.49 for some DOT4 brake fluid.

Quite alot but worth it for me.

Its not too bad really, the hardest part I found was bleeding the brakes correctly.
Routeing the cables isnt too bad.

Also, for the TT600 you may have to modify the fairing to get full lock to lock steering.

Not for my bike no.
The clutch and throttle cable reach fine with no binding.
Im not quite happy with the clutch cable, it could do with being an inch longer but as I said it doesnt bind at all.

However the insructions state that after a certain VIN number a longer clutch cable is needed, I didnt need this but you might.

A longer brake cable is needed for most bars, some bars you may be able to stay with stock but the kit does include a very long brake line.

agreed. I did scotland with the standard bar ends and didnt feel pain in wrists that much, more the wind blast taking the pixie hat off would make worse.

The standard rideing position is good for higher speed running when your on your own but thats it.

I do alot of commuting, town rideing and recently with the Mrs on the back, so the normal position makes rideing painful on the wrists and lower back for me.

Plus the bike just looks plain cool with bars.

Its the stopping and starting you get on commuting that puts more of a strain on your wrists

and a more upright riding position is better in traffic
