hi there heres a gd 1 for you why would a speedfight go backwards instead of forward
i have changed engine but i know it worked before i put it in
i have also change the cdi for the aftermarket 1 because my immobiliser keeped coming on and i didnt have red key Sad

The timing is too advanced. Retard it and it will run in the correct way.

St3v3 to be fair he didnt really use 't3xt' speek. Wink But i see where your coming from bruv Thumbs Up Weird issue to be reversing,im sure someone on here had the same problem a while back,maybe have a look and try and pick up some info from that. Good luck.

Maybe his kickstart is sending the engine backwards ie similar to bumping a bike backwards!! Retard means make it spark later

Unlikely unless he has fitted the kickstart the wrong way around and broken off all the gear stops.

i havent touched the kick start i have mucked about with the engine when i kick it,
it goes the right way round but when it starts it goes the wrong way,
if retard mean make it spark later how do i do that

Sounds like a result of you changing the CDI.

Isn't the timing fixed on modern CDI's? Did you defnitely get the right one?
