my bike is only worth approx £600 but i never claim on my insurance as after excess i would only get approx £350 and what with it pushing the insurance price up for me next year i never feel its worth it.

only that note, would there be much point in insuring thft over just third party?

Can you afford to lose even £350....
The diffrence may not be much in the price you pay anyway, between TPO & TPFT

3rd party is the bit that costs the ins co the most....
Have a shop around you may be surprised to find you get cheaper quotes elsewhere.

Insure your bike for more than its worth, It dosen't add much more at all on your premium.

If you can't then definitely best not to go TPFT where you'll be losing lots more money in the long run if you do make a claim.

They'll only pay out what they think it's worth though, often less.

So, were it me, I'd stick with TPO unless TPFT is cheaper.

If you insure tpft or tpo its always worth asking the comp price, often it works out even cheaper, especially if you load the xs
