scooter wont start please help

hi there i have a gilera skp 50cc 1998 plate and it wont start Sad fuel is getting through to piston but none on spark plug so i have tried tipping a bit in spark plug hole to get it fire and it tries but doesnt succeed i have noticed that it is seeping fuel from the exhaust manifold is this the problem for firing up too much air maybe or is it something else also it has had the piston stripped and checked and this isnt the problem according to my dealer please help

ok heres your problem, your battery is as flat as arsehole and your petrol is fucking RANK after having been in the tank for 2 years.. so listen.

drain your fuel and put some new in, and charge ur battery, if it still dont work get a new spark plug and drain your carb

The most important thing is to replace the spark plug and give it fresh fuel.

It will run. I have a moped sitting in my back yard that hadn't started in 5 years. Took two hours of kicking it over before it started to even try and run.

i have drained fuel changed oil and new spark plug still wont kick checked crankseals and piston rings also checked petals are intact so why wont it fire the battery is dead but i connect my jumppack on to turn it over ,

Have you checked you have compression?
Have you got a birds nest in your air box?
Have you got a good spark (checked the gap) on your spark plug?


After that, a pagen ritual, followed by a sacrifice (your least favorite teddy)
