I have been playing around with different carb setups inan attempt to fix the problem of my bike bogging down and cutting out.
I have fitted the carb this afternoon and fired up the bike. It ticked over faithfully at 1K however when in neutral and applying some throttle the revs would shoot up (as expect) but they would not come back down, unless I put the bike into gear.
My throttle cable is fine and the slide is returning to the bottom of the carb when the throttle is released.
Why do my revs not drop back down to idle when in nutral? ____________________ Motorcycle headlight bulbs and HIDs

It only occurs when opening the throttle, even when let go the revs stay at the same level they were for a good 20+ seconds.
Its almost like an improv cruise control
The bike is an RD125LC |
Sounds like it's too lean on the pilot circuit. Try turning the pilot air screw all the way in and see if that helps (although it will likely not idle) kill the engine on a closed throttle. If it works then slowly wind it out half a turn at a time untill it idles. You might need a bigger pilot jet if it's not possible to find a good balance. ____________________ 18:54:48 Rob Fzs: jews don't give away stuff for free
