Got a set of front and rear stands for christmas. Have used rear stands before so not worried about that. Its the front one that scares me, I have put the bike on it once, however, it doesn't look very safe when on it. Anybody tell me the correct way of fitting the front stand, or even a picture of it on properly. Just fear that I may be doing it wrong. ____________________ Speed doesn't kill. one of the pegs sits under the base of the fork and the other sits just behind the base of the fork.
Gravity keeps everything in place. You MUST use it with a rear stand or it will fall off.

Make sure your sidestand is down before dropping the bike off the paddock stand, i found out the hard way you ever held onto a bike by the tail when its on its side against a garage wall? Wonder how my wrist never snapped ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |

I can get the R6 on the stand by myself (although I did drop it once, into the car door ) - it just takes a little practice.
Of course if you're got no friends, then that helps to speed the learning process! |
