I've had problems similar to this from stunt riding where I use 1 finger on the clutch and 1 finger on the handbrake.. where I'm riding so much I done something to the nerves and my whole middle finger went completely numb like pins and needles sort of but semi-permenant.. I went to hospital cos I thought I'd fractured it, but it was fine they said trapped/damaged nerve nothing can do about it.... I stopped riding for a while and after a good few weeks it returned to normal.. so hopfeully with time your finger will regain feeling..... if in doubt, go see your GP though. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

A trapped nerve is treatable and recovery can be 100%. If you leave it, the nerve endings will start to die due to lack of blood then it will be irreversable. By the way it may well get better or worse. If it get sworse expect this: Numb fingers first, dropping things, pain in the arm, pain in the shoulder followed by pain in the neck. This pain is called refered pain and comes from the nerve being pinched in the spine. It a fucker when its bad ____________________ Before: Suzuki GT 185. Honda Superdream 250. Yamaha RD350LC. Then thats known as pins and needles mate.
Sometimes it will disappear quickly, other times it can take a long while.
Worrying about nowt mate. Though you seemed mighty bothered about the GP...bad experiences with a nice "Uncle-Doctor" dude? ____________________ "Oh....it looks like Average Joe's is forfeiting the match!" - "Yeah, its a risky strategy but lets see if it pays off for 'em Cotton." |

I had an xray and was told i had a trapped nerve a year ago in my neck, i cant feel the skin between my shoulders up to my neck at all anymore. Same with my knee its been like that 2 years after coming of the TZR. Probably is a trapped nerved or damage. They say sometimes it heals and not. I have a lot of nerve damage everywhere, today its my face ____________________ All the breast.
