Saw this on the news this morning.

Luckily the drivers of the cars involved are not seriously hurt. Thumbs Up

Hope the bike isn't too badly damaged, and also that the little shit's family pays for the damage to both cars so they don't have to claim off their insurance.

Absolutely pukka! Thumbs Up Very Happy I hope the little scumbag suffered severe pain before he died. Hope his useless parents are gutted too (unlikely though, unfortunately).

I used to work at Hendon Magistrates - I've probably locked up the dead scrote at one point or another. Good riddance, quite frankly.

How stupid do you have to be to jump onto the M1?

Gotta give credit to the website caption writers. Under the picture of the chock-a-block motorway is "The M1 is a busy route" - well, I'd never have guessed!

Serious question here

Quote:
police say a post-mortem examination will take place soon

why?

Is it not fecking obvious that he died from being hit by a car or is there another reason they need to do a post mortem?

Come on guys give the kid a break!

He was such a lovely guy who always thought of others first. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. He was always there for me and was such a decent human being! He's a role model to all others

I think it's to check if he was intoxicated with anything, Plus I think it may be a law, Not sure.

I feel sorry for those stuck in the traffic jam.

"The M1 was closed between junctions one and two in both directions for several hours and has now been fully reopened."

Shouldn't have closed the motorway! They should have treated it like all other vermin and left the corpse on the side of the verge to rot with the rest of the vermin.

Hope the car that hit him wasn't too damaged!

Thing that annoys me:
Quote:
The boy's next of kin have been informed, and a post mortem is due to take place.

Surely post mortem is to find out the Cause Of Death?

Which is pretty much summed up:
Quote:
spotted trying to walk across the road when he was hit by a car

Great.

A bit harsh, he was only a youngster & had plenty of time to change hes ways.
I'm sure everyone has done stuff they grew out of or regret?
Sure he should get a hiding but saying he deserved it is very harsh.

Where's that thread where everyone mentioned something bad they've done in the past?

For sure, I was a similar type of scumbag when I was young and deserved to die too. Luckily I survived and changed my ways, but that doesn't mean I didn't deserve to die back then in retrospect.

My thoughts too, presumably as said it might be to see if he had an drink/drugs in him, but how that affects anything is beyond me, either way he killed himself by running onto a motorway and into a car, hardly takes a dissection to be sure and no one dragged him across the motorway Rolling Eyes

Doesn't' it just say acting suspicious ?

So a this point there is nothing that has been proven ?

I don't think there is much a 13 year old could do short of murdering a loved one of mine that would make me suggest he deserved to die.

sorry to pull out this old Gem but what about his parents.

I know a few of the above posts would have been written without a great deal of thought but seriously maybe a few extra seconds consideration before posting could only be a good thing

Thumbs Up

It's a hard-line, but natural reaction, to the current state of play, where loathesome little scumbags get to do whatever the fvck they like to other peoples' hard-earned property with next to no fear of legal retribution. If these brats were being dealt with properly by the law, and the victims given due consideration, there'd be more sympathy.

yeah fair call.

The hard question is how far should the law go.
I sometimes wonder if the law should hand out much harder sentences to deter people from any legal activity.

Yet anytime there is a hint of the law becoming less flexible as in the laws and police rights in relation to possible terrorist activity there is an outcry of unfair.

So the question is how do you enforce hard penalties for those breaking or suspected of breaking the law and yet still allow Joe citizen to go about his daily life and not be affected by it ?

Punish people who commit crime, don't punish innocent people whilst trying to prevent crime.
