The dealer agrees a term (normally 30 months, as per Triumph and Suzuki) and after deposit of £2000, then 30 months, at £200 a month (example, no idea on true figure), the bike is fully yours, amount for finance paid, £0.
Works nicely. Just a gimmick to push sales, but everyone insists there's a 'trap' somewhere, when really they need to do it to sell the bikes.
You lose nothing by doing it. ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

Just bought aZX6R 07 on the 0% deal ... Its as good as it sounds
No catch .. traded in my Z750 and paying off over 3yrs. Saved about £20 a month.
Cant comment on it too much yet as im still running it in and the weather has been complete crap up here .. but I still have a huge grin when I get back home ____________________ Kawasaki Z750:~Sold / Kawasaki ZX-6R 07:~Sold / Aprilia Tuono 1000 R 08: / Triumph Tiger 1050 |

just make sure you dont get conned into getting new leathers ect
its easy to go yes ill have that that and that when you've just been accepted for finance

You will usually find that with 0% finance that the price of the bike is boosted a bit to cover the loss of interest, or you will not get such a good deal on PX.
You may find that if you asked what price you would pay for cash and then borrow from another source that it might be cheaper.
All they are trying ot do is boost sale and shift old stock.
If it suits you go for it, just remember FC ins, you dont want to bin it and then still have to pay for it for the next few years with no bike to ride..... ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

I'm paying for my Fazer on 0% finance, picked it up in September. Left the cash I was going to use to buy it with in an ISA and a savings account. |
