Favourite comedian / comedy

Seems that there's quite a mixed bunch on here when it comes to comedians and the like. Some worryingly seem to have no sense of humour at all away from picking at others and having digs at folk.

So which comedians get you splitting your sides?

I must say, I do like Lee Evans. He's not so much a comedian as a funny performer.

It's his actions and the way he says stuff that makes me laugh, not necessarily his jokes as such.

The famous comedians who I likes are Billy Connolly, The mighty boosh (live and on tv), Jimmy Carr and Russell Brand.

There's lots of 'unknowns' I've seen who are really good, might find some youtube links later.

Apt I love the parcel force one, it was on last night the XL tour and chuckled away again at it. First time I needed to sit with my inhaler I couldnt breath for laughing at Lee Evans.

Also Tommy Tiernan on funerals was great! He cracks me up!

There are a few other scattered ones but they are the main ones. I like Billy Conolly also only grew tired of the repeats of the tour of Australia on sky.

I like stand up comedy. And Shaun Might Boosh Live was great! Was on last night also.

Lee Evans. Saw him live in Brighton on the Wired and Wonderful tour and it was absolutely fantastic. I nearly pee'd myself from laughing so much and in an attempt to stop that happening pulled a muscle in my stomach!

I'd recommend not sitting in the front two rows if you're going to see him though, his sweat really does fling off and cover everyone!

Ellen DeGeneres is another favourite of mine.

In terms of 'now', live acts I've loved recently are We Are Klang, Stephen K Amos, Russel Howard, Frankie Boyle, Gareth Berliner, Dara O'brien, Adam Bloom, Chris Rock, and last weekend we went to a club where Lee Hurst was compere. I'd never seen him do stand up before and he was really good.
