What with all the bikes where i live going missing im needing some extra security in my shed. My shed sits on slabs in my garden with are properly laid. But has anyone put an anchor in through their shed floor? And is it pointless putting an anchor into slabs?
And can anyone recommend a good anchor that may be suitable?

If you going to fix it through a slab try to make sure that you are closer to the middle than the edge and that the fixings are long enough.

Much better if its one of the concrete council type slabs rather than the wickes type. The older ones can be a pita to break while the cheaper type fall to bits if you drop them.

The slabs are the council type, fooking huge. Laughing So im guessing you just drill the holes and then put resin, or concrete in. Thinking

Different locks have different types of fixings. Some need to be concreted into the floor while others bolt down.

The bolt down ones use metal rawlplug type fixing and these do sometimes use resin to hold them in.

I can't recommend any since I made my own but I'm sure if you ask in the general bike section you'll get a fair few opinions to work on Wink
