With open face, you'll want something that sits tight on your face: goggles, or sports/cycling glasses with foam backing.
They should conform to and be marked with: BS 4110:1979 Grade X; BS 4110:1979 XA, YA or ZA; 89/686/EEC; 93/68/EEC, 93/95/EEC or 96/58/EEC. And of course, every copper you encounter will have that memorised. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I wear Helly Eagle ones, I tend to have the elasticated band rather than the arms as it makes them fit more snug on long runs

So do I. But they're useless with an open face helmet.

They're shit with an open face, as you have found in conjunction with an open visor. So, it's the fact that I'm right, that makes me right.
| Quote: | for all i know your a half-whit who just pretends your ride a bike and has never sat on one, why should i trust one person on the internet with an opinion like that, who seems to generally be a rude twat? |
I'm a rude twat who knows far more than you do about wearing an open face with glasses. You should trust me because I've been riding cruisers with pisspot helmets and shades for the last four years and 20,000 miles and you'll be wanting back up from the likes of me when the trolls on here brutally rape you over your Tom Cruise fantasies.

Actually, you want people to tell you that aviators are a good choice with a pisspot helmet. Well, good luck with that on BCF. |

You should buy that jacket. George Michael wore one like it at the Olympic closing ceremony. Make sure you wear the aviators with it. |

yes, that is what i have found, with shit cheapo shades that sit about an inch off my face, the better quality ones tend to fit tighter and therefore will let less air in

that may be the case, you've given a very blunt answer to a very open question, in my experience, blunt answers usually come from highly opinionated people who are generally wrong.
nope, fairly sure i wont want your back up thanks, i'd rather stand alone, although you've just given me fair reason to believe you you've als given me fair reason to not like you.

Actually, i want people to tell me the make and model of some aviators that are good, i find it hard to believe that they are all exactly the same, somehow. if it is proven that they are all shit then i'll look into something else but until then i wont. |
