I did them on my restricted NSR 125. And by "them" I don't really mean a decent wheelie. I found it best to actually do them from standing rather than rolling along, to max difference between engine speed and road speed. Rev it up, dump the clutch, up it jumps, rev to try and hold it and try not to fall to either side because of the slow speed, and come down hard probably wrecking your forks.
Good thing that bike got written off and I didn't have to try and sell it to be honest. |

You haven't said what 125. Presume it's the CBR125? Haven't got proper graphics here to see your avatar.
Some 125s can do them fine, others can't at all.
If you've got a short first gear, it'll be a case of clutching it and keeping your weight back, maybe with a bounce.
Doing them on a 125 like this is much harder than on bigger bikes, meaning you're much more likely to have problems if you don't know what you're doing; possibly causing damage or crashing your bike.
A skilled stunter could undoubtedly do them for several miles fine and still do less damage to the bike than riding down a pot-holed road.
To conclude, spend your time practicing for your test and get a bigger bike . |
