Hi all...

Hope you can help me on this. Have just got hold of an NC35 to use for trackdays. It starts fine but when you engage a gear, it cuts out. I am assuming it is the sidestand cutout, except there isn't a stand on it (taken off by previous owner).

Anyone know enough about these bikes as to where the wiring would go, so I can trace it back???

Thanks in advance for any help.
Les

Does it jump forward when you engage gear? could be clutch adjustment.

no stand as trackbike i assume... does it stall even with clutch in? The wiring is normally where the stand would be, depends on how far it has been taken back but normally a push switch where the side stand would be....

Correct, its a trackbike, and yes before clutch is released. Have looked for the wire at stand end but cannot find anything. Must have been cut back but not a clue how far Sad

Any suggestions (I don't think previous owner will know)...

Thanks again!!!

i have looked everywhere for a manual to find the wiring diagram but alas i can't find it.... i would prob suggest www.400greybike.co.uk as they would be able to answer instantly, the parts manual shows a two wire connection just behind the stand :S so might be worth having a look for this as its got to be connected or you wouldn't be having the problems! sometimes racers hide them under seats as a cut out:S

go there and all is sorted, not brill quality but in the very bottom left is the thing your looking for and you can see where it connects and take it from there:)
