*cruel borry sto*

...riding home, all is well, then hear loud bang from the arse and something hits the rear hugger.

Pull over in the dark, get the phone out, everything seems ok, must have been a stone or something. Carry on and get home.

This morning, giving it the once over, notice that my rear brake pads, plate, retaining pin and clip are all AWOL.

Oh dear.

Anyway the point of the story is that Yamaha don't have a part number for the locking pin and r-clip, so am a bit stuffed. It's a silver brembo 2-pot, so if anyone knows where I might find someone who can supply such things I would be grateful. Have checked eBay and no-one be selling a rear caliper.

The pin needs to be about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches long, would any old thing do?

Maybe this should be in workshop, but it's a dull thread so meh.

Have a pic anyway.

cheers
Thumbs Up
