.. I was the lights and just had my clutch in while in first, ready to go when it hit green. But while idling, it suddenly dies (more or less as soon as i let it idle). So i quickly tried to start it again, to get from the lights and int a safe place, but it would only start with full revs, and then when i let it idle it died again!

So, i quickly started it once more, held the revs on and pulled off when they went to green and rode home (about 2 minutes away)

It had ran fine for the whole journey, so when this happened i was baffled!! Rolling Eyes

So, i got it home and tried to start it, just exactly the same thing happened again, would start on full revs and would run if i held on the revs, but as soon as i let go it died!

Cant see anything obvious, checked electrical connections and all, i have plenty of fuel.. Ill just wait untill it cools down to get to the plug now..

I recorded this, to show ya: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6iGYv3JA_0

.. Any ideas Evil or Very Mad Crying or Very sad

Ant.

Have you left the choke on by mistake?

Ok, thought I'd check, thats what happens when you leave the choke on on a 2T.

If its not that, then I'd say your pilot jet is blocked. Thumbs Up

Problem solved.. From what you said about the choke Barry, i wuickly checked it again anyway and found the lever was very loose.

After quickly tightening the choke lever nut, Started her up and shes sweet as a nut!

Thanks again mate, Ant.
