 Posted: 11:00 - 20 May 2008 Post subject: Insurance question ? NC29 |
 |
|
ave just passed my test and have a NC29 ready to go, I have had an insurance quote for £300.64 fully comp from H&R which includes legal cover and something called excess insurance, basically this covers my excess in the event of a total loss claim, so if my bike is stolen or written off due to fire or accidental damage etc I just pay £100 does this sound okay ? all of the other quotes I have had were around £290 but with excesses of around £300. Obviously if my bike has minor damage I wouldn`t bother claiming anyway but chances are with these old 400`s any major fairing damage would result in it being written off anyway as the cost of repair and respraying these would be at least £700 plus, what are peoples thoughts on this ? thanks ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/blownygti/90cbr400/Default.asp |
