https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-MC28-SP-NSR250-MINT-CONDITION-MC-28-RS250-RGV250_W0QQitemZ190232951213QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190232951213&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Just seen that on ebay after looking for a <£2000 NSR250, obviosuly isnt less than 2 grand but nvm!

Have a listen to that video, what the hell is wrong with it, sounds like a VERY bad rattle to me...

Why not? It's the dry clutch and is perfectly normal.

As Mick says, being an SP it has a dry clutch and is perfectly normal to sound like that. I'd be very worried if it wasn't making that noise!

Thumbs Up

He did. Laughing

And I dont think that NS400 is all that, it's just an ns400 with 500gp replica bodywork, an mc21 swingarm and an extra can that does nothing. Laughing

Not sure why anyone would want an MC28. Everyone knows the 21 was the better bike. Razz

Is it true that the 21 was the more powerful version after which they tuned them down to make them 'better'?

MC21's and 28's where restricted to 45bhp.

To derestrict the 21 takes 10 min with a soldering iron and a hole cutter.

The 28 needs a HRC ignition card (discontinued) a hrc loom and other bit's and pieces .

The US effectivly banned 2 stroke road bikes due to emissions in the mid 1980s.

All the best
