Hi, again - Another question if i may.

I routed wires behind the wall for the tv & my plastering skills show up very badly when i've got my neons on behind the tv. I've tried various sanding blocks/paper but the plaster doesn't seem to smooth down to the point where the bumps disappear. What can i do to get rid of them, obviously i don't want to spend much (much as in over a few quid)

Any ideas? Cheers.

Could try polycell smoothover.

Like really thick, self-levelling paint.

Use coarse sand paper in a power tool. It will level it out, but also scratch up the surface, then smooth it over with finer grit.

Best way is to sand it over and skim it again but make sure you don't use a float that is too small as the irregularities won't be covered properly.

Cheers guys, i'll go for Stinkwheels method first, if not i'll have to go for the sanding on a power tool. Thumbs Up
