It's best to try on boots before you buy as they all come up differently, like shoes.
Sports boots have more protection, venting and replaceable toe sliders, whereas touring boots will be geared towards all day comfort and being water proof, but they won't be as protective. ____________________ My Flickr |

I have Oxtar(now TCX) Evo boots, crashed in them and they shrugged it off to fight another day. Good boots. ____________________ My Flickr |

I've got these but mine don't last any where near 2 years. Maximum 6 months but I don't complain when the only cost £15 lol. Waterproof in everything but snow that had built up on my boot and then melted its way in. Need to go and buy a new pair now though.
I like the look of those oxtars for £70, may buy some as they will match my leathers quite well and keep the swifts for with my textiles. I'm going to run out of space soon lol. |
