Im looking at fitting the loudest possible horn i can do the bike after stumbling across a 130db (But 24volt) bus horn.

What is the loudest i'm allowed on a bike, or is it not capped?

i've seen 139db 12volt horns which would simply bolt on.

I had a very loud horn on my 1930, I loved to see the MOT man leap out of his skin when he tested it.

The nautilus is fkin loud, but read the blurb carefully as the quoted 130-odd dB is only when used at 24V

Still enough to scare the crap out of a bus driver as he cut me up.

I dont think he was expecting that level of noise from a CG125. Laughing Thumbs Up

Cheers

My Nautilus is crap. My standard horn was louder. It does look good mounted on the bike but every time it rains it fills up with water and the noise it does generate is transformed into a quiet gargling sound Sad.

It's not the horn that's crap its the person that fitted it badly! They are well known for being the loudest compact airhorns you can buy and I have fitted loads without that problem you have.

Crap design more like. The terminals are right at the front, unshielded and exposed to the weather. There's not really a hidden place where I can put it on my bike. And I really don't think it's that loud to be honest.

the "Nautilus" is well known for its poor build quaility and often fails for no reason other than being crap. When they work they are loud yes but they are not really reliable. A few diff horns reveiwed here
