ok sorry but i have lots of questions so i thought i would put them all in one so as to not take up too much space (and my time )
anyway here we go:
1. what is the best 125cc bike i can get for preferably under £1k but could maybe stretch to £1.5k. i want a sporty looking bike, not a scrambler or anything. if anyone has pics of them that would be excellent
2. i want to pass my test a.s.ap, i can do theory easily but does anyone know if there is a course that isn't too expensive which i can do? any links or phone numbers would be excellent
actually thats pretty much it!
cheers
ben
ps. i saw this TT race or something on men and motors, if was f'ing awesome, has anyone been to the roads they were racing on? if not we should go up there! |

You will be taught all the basics in your CBT
Doing spread out lessons is a bad idea. If your going to do them, do them as close togther as you can. Its worth spending a while riding on your own, just to learn stuff which they can't teach, like general road sense.
You can ride around on L plates on your own with just a CBT
Anyone can do it with no lessons. You just need to ride, and be prepared to take several attempts at your test. I passed 3rd time. First one I put my foot down in the U turn (me being stupid ) Second one I got a major for "observation at a junction" cos I got cut up Third time I past. Cost me £150 in total |

£850 TPFT sounds quite a bit I'd be expecting to pay about £600-800 depending on area, and your age. Your what 18-19?
Once you have passed you car test, your allowed a 50cc with no L plates. Have you got normal motorcycle entitlement on your license? If not, you need to get it.
£700 for an entire summer? You can get more than that in MacDonalds
Assuming you only take your test when you are ready, then yes it is cheaper. Problem is, I reckon it's down the the examiners mood, how many other passes and fails they've done, and all other mistakes people make on the roads seem to get blamed on you
Are you in any hurry to pass your test? If not, get loads of experience, get into good habits, and you should pass quite quickly A lesson is about £20-25, and a test is £48 so you can do the maths. |

I don't actually know. I think you have to have a CBT whatever, and your allowed on a 50cc without L plates once you have a full car license. You will have to have L plates on the NSR
£700 for 8 weeks work? Thats like £2.20 per hour if your doing a 40 hour week |
