Just been for a nice ride out on this little one.
Down at the seafront and decided it's time to go... and it didnt.
All is dead, checked fuses they are fine, had a quick check around and couldnt find nothing wrong.
So had to bump start it, still all dead no lights etc, good thing it wasn't dark.
Any ideas chaps? Confused

Checked the battery mate.
Just had a second look, there's a small black box next to the air filter with multiplugs inside it.
When i move the wires about, i can manage to get the ignition back.
Plugs look secure enough, perhaps a broken wire. Sad
Oh well, looks like i'll be playing with electrics tomorrow. Smile
While it was all dead coming back home, she didnt half pull away and move much quicker, was suprised. Shocked

It's not the kill switch mate, looks like a loose/damaged wiring causing the problem.
If i have a play with the wiring look all comes back to life for a bit. Sad

Mate, just trace the wires and get a bell set to ckeck each of them in turn to see if it's broken. Might take a while but it's real easy to sort if you reckon its a broken wire.

Also check the connections for corrosion, if you see any looking in a poor state give them a clean. It may well be a bad connection. A bikes wiring isn't that well protected from dampness.

It certainly sounds like one of the above from what your saying.

Good luck Very Happy

Cheers chaps.
Found the problem after cutting away all the black tape.
By the looks of it, it was a red ignition wire.
Two joined into one, it had gone green and corroded, so the soldering iron and heat shrinks came out and all is now sweet. Cool
