Unless you're a riding god, smooth riding is a life saver on cold wet/damp roads, no sudden jerky inputs or the bike will not so politely tell you where to get off.
Observation is a winner too as always, but more so in winter. Spotting a patch of wet leaves on the line you were going to take is better done early so you've got time to react etc ____________________ A quater of a NC30 and a whole tatty ZX6R J2, that's plenty...

Put some cool shades on if you get caught in a white-out.

Jet Road GTX gloves are officially the best things ever, I hear a lot of good things said about the chunky HG 3 finger jobbies too, Pathans or something?
As for tips, eh, just be sure your gear is up to keeping you warm and dry, ride smoothly and sensibly and keep your bike clean or put something between the salt and metal
Until the ice hits, winter isn't so bad. |
Not matter how good the gloves if you are riding when it is really cold for more than 30mins you will end up with cold hands, I have the HG 3 finger things and they are ok but nothing special.
I have hand gaurds which keep the wind off but your hands still get a little cold after a while (I usualy ride at 11pm/7am) ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |
