Once again things aint going right,
looking around i decided to go and grab some 35/35 halogen bulbs, i went and ordered them and they arrived this morning. they look nice then i notice they have the wrong fitting (three prongs rather than bosch).
I decicded to have at look at my current headlights any way and see how hard they will be to change Shocked
I managed to undo the spedo cable on the clocks then unscrew them, then at the back i'm going through hell trying to get all the electrics out, the white clip n the black clip came out after a while but the purlple wire and the (multi?) other colourerd wire won't budge n i don't wana risk breaking them....can anybody offter some help?
the space to work on the Headlights is very tight, am i correct in saying that i just unclip all the wires on the headlight fitting and then rotate it so it will come out??

Umm, you usually don't really have to take off any of the connectors (or even the rubber thing), just rotate the light fitting anti-clockwise and it should come off, then you can take out the bulb. (This isn't specific to any bike BTW, so it *may* differ)

sorry, it is an NSR, just found the sapce to work in very tight and removing the clocks is a bugger, like I said my only problem is that pink wire, it looks like its on a male-female connector but i didn't wana pull too hard in case i broke the wire and buggerd things up

Yeah, I did assume that it was for an NSR, but the principle should still be the same - you shouldn't have to unplug anything, just try to unscrew the bulb holder (big round black thing covered by a rubber domey thing).
