After my very stupid trip to scotland, I annihilated my rear brake (pads non existant, disc badly scored and flaking away).
Replaced the pads and the disc with new ones, and they seem to be running fine now, but on a closer inspection today Ive noticed that my rear disc is starting to lightly score again.
Should I take it all apart, reclean and assemble it again incase theres a bit of muck in there or is this just part of the bedding in process as theyre new pads and a new disc.
Slightly concerned as I dont want to spend another £60 on another rear disc.
Thanks.
P.S. If the nice welsh guy called shaun (I think), with the girlfriend in glasgow is on this forum - hope you got back ok in that weather, sorry for leaving you at the petrol station, I didnt realise you had broken down till we were back on the motorway ____________________ Children in the back of cars cause accidents : Accidents in the back of cars cause children

Some very light scoring is normal due to the make up of the pad material but it shouldn't be excessive. How bad is it? Got a photo?
Usually changing the disc and pads at the same time shouldn't cause any problems. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |
