yamaha r6 dash bulb type?

hi just wondering if anyone knows what bulb fits into my warning lights on the display ie the indicator,full beam ect and is it just a white bulb with coloured lense.
i dont want to take the bike apart and then gp hunting for parts. i just wanna get the bulbs before hand then attack it.

pretty sure its just a small led and coloured lens. i might be getting mixed up with my rs125 though, I'll check tonight.

I took mine apart this weekend to check the bulbs as my N isn't lighting, I can confirm that the bulbs are coloured too.

I was surprised to see the coloured bulbs but they are.

Oh just to add that the bulbs are soldered into the board so if you were to change the bulb you would have to have a soldering Iron.

I guess it can be done but you would just have to be carefull.

I may be wrong but it looked like they were soldered in place, I did give it a bit of a pull but you can't really get anything in there to pull out. The clock comes apart really easy, there are no loose parts inside so give it ago.

ok cheers. i was told they can me removed. my problem is. i have just fitted led front and rear indicators and a small amount of current is being passed to either side when one side is on and the green dash light now doesnt work. iv fitted the relay which has solved the flash speed but its still passing current as it was when they were 1st fitted. also to note i have re wired them twice now so there are no shorts in the circuit.

please please help Confused

Not sure if the same applies but when i fitted LED indis onto my dtr125 i had to take the bulb out of the dashboard to stop the current being passed onto the opposite side to where you are inidicating. eg. when i turned the left side on the right side lit up slightly. But taking the dash bulb out sorted this.

yes mate. i took it to a garage and i used a universal led relay and they fitted a yamaha relay that (not the standard one) it looked the same as the motrax universal relay but said yamaha on it.

worked perfect then mate..
