The simple answer is no. The Mobylette uses a double cable twistgrip, but not like a regular one used on many bikes, where one cable pulls the other pushes ( depending which way you twist). The cables sit on a stop , so that when one is pulled ( throttle or decompressor) the other one stays on its stop and doesn't move . There are a few moped forums , Mopedland is one that springs to mind . Have a look on there and you will soon find something suitable.
From mopedland :
Moby throttle body castings—selection. New—£4. Used—£2.
Moby throttle twistgrip tubes—selection. New—£2. Used—£1.
How do I know all this.
I had one back in 1972. ____________________ All the above is my personal opinion, you can see my lips move, but I'm talking out of my arse.
I've been riding, and fixing , bikes for 50 years, in that time the more I learn, the less I am absolutely sure of.....
