Nope, my examiner was an arsehole, I passed, but with several minors I knew I hadn't made (incorrect use of the gears ). Plus he shouted at me for trying to adjust the volume on my radio. |

I can't remember, it was too long ago. I did with my car test, so I probably did with the bike. I remember he was a sound guy. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

i could have kissed mine (it might have shocked him tho)
when it came to the "flipper" bit (pictures of road signs) i was buggered if i could remember the national speed limit so erred on the side of caution, he asked me again so i went up by 10mph (60mph), then he said "are you sure it isn't 70mph" ? ...
to which i replied, "if that's what you think it is, it must be"...
he then said " i'm pleased to be able to say you have passed"...
i also was taking my test on an old Yamaha RS100 that had no kickstart so after explaining that i'd have to bumpstart it when he asked me to switch it off he said "ok, forget that"...
this was in the days when the examiner strolled round the block listening to your engine note, mine being a 2stroke i made it properly scream once round the corner out of sight ____________________ it ain't broke...

I said thanks
Trivia:
the practical test has the emergency stop and the U-turn
before the loop-hole was noticed most places may have you do a U-turn Beore your emergency stop...
if you put your foot down/screw up... test failed...
however, if you then have to do your emergency stop just do a runner!
go round the block and f**k off... back to the test center.... if the examiner looses you durin the test its an automatic cancel (and test fee refund i understand)
may come in handy to some one some day
I have heard of a few guys who did this ____________________ A scientist crossed a skunk with an owl. He's got a bird that smells but doesn't give a hoot |

Yep, I was sort of expecting to fail for hesitation as I passed a car that was badly parked with the engine running and a little old lady at the wheel ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

Before the test, i made a remark to him
"Let's go on this ride out then!"
Shook his hand and he smiled pleasantly - young-ish sort of chap mind. Probably police instructor mind. He had his ZX12R at the test centre too. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

Mine offered his hand. Seemed churlish not to shake it as he also thanked me for a pleasant ride

I wanted to.
But he was busy pointing out (with a slight smirk) that he had passed me despite following me all the way round on his Pan European, and had spent most of his time admiring the sticker on the back of my top box which said "Only poofters have fairings".
Better than the test before (which I cant remember why I failed - maybe riding over chevrons or something?) but during which I wore a helmet that had a sticker on that says "Hows my riding? Dial 0800 FUCK YOU" (and which I didnt notice til I got back and took it off indoors) ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |
