Just a thought.

Why dont the bike classifieds be split up into a separate

WANTED

and

FOR SALE section

Makes it a bit more obvious on who's selling what and where rather than having your posts go onto the next page because a 16 year old on an NRG keeps posting :wanted: rainbow coloured power band. And next, he's asking for "unobtanium spark plugs"

would declutter the threads and make them a lot more usable? Mods; Bendy, G, anybody?

Its an interesting idea and it would help, but to be honest I stopped going in there when they locked every post.

Same here, I keep forgetting its there to be honest.

Although I recently got ripped off to the tune of £140 by a member on here. Middle Finger

Can't do it myself.
Personally, I like having both... I find it's rare I'll look in a 'Wanted' section, yet occasionally while browsing For Sale sections I'll happen on something wanted I am happy to sell/give away.

Remember, that people can and *should* post :wanted: or :forsale: in their thread titles. Also, while we're at it, it'd be nice if people posted useful thread titles in the first place... Like ':forsale: 2003 R6, low miles, needs service £2200 ono, West London', rather than 'Anyone?', or 'Great deal!' Rolling Eyes.
Can take a horse to water, etc, etc... suspect it's mostly their loss for not bothering.

While I don't like locked posts, sadly it was required due to 'human nature' of BCF users.

Why not now? Could save someone else getting ripped off?

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 17 years, 267 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
